Thanks for the suggestion. When we researched further, we are getting the error message on the locked sales order, when our shippers exit the transfer order. This message is on the messge bar at the bottom of the screen. (It does not Pop up in the middle of the screen) If they green arrow out of the transaction from here, they get another error that tells them they will loose their unsaved data. This is where they lose the HU's that have been scanned. If they say NO to this message then they are sent back to the load screen to save their HU's. If the order is available, the save occurs. If the order is still locked, they are informed who has the order open. From here they can call CSR and ask them to exit the order.
I have no idea what this screen looked like last year. We just needed to change our process so that both groups can do their jobs.

Hi All,
I do not normally support shipping, but we are leaning our resources and I am trying to learn this module. We have WM active so we use transaction LT03 to create our transport order and load our trucks. When Shippers are in LT03, our system is allowing other users to be in update mode in the order, VA02, and vice versa. However, when all of the HUs have been entered on the transfer order, and processing continues, our shippers get the error message VL 045 Sales document is currently being processed. In the past this message has been a warning. Now it is a hard error. Our shippers loose everything they have entered.
We loaded support packages in Dec 2010. We are now in our busy season so this is a problem. I have checked OVM1 – Distribution related messages, and OVAH – sales related messages and cannot find where to change the error back to a warning.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
