RE:[sap-log-sd] Custom Copy Routine - Billing Document to Credit Memo Request

Reply from csk_3012 on Jan 1 at 9:10 AM
Could you please explain how you have configured the discount based on the delivery qty only to be determined in the invoice.
is the pricing procedure in the sales order different from the invoice?
have you assigned any requirement to the discount condition type so that i could be determined only in the invoice.
creditmemo requests should only be created with reference to the returns order and not with the original invoice.
have you maintained all the copy control settings and the pricing type at the item category level from the original invoice to the returns.
the copy quantity field in the copy control if left unchecked allows to enter the target quantity and hence the system could redetermine the condition vaue of the basic price or return price compatible with the return quantity.

In the backdrop of the precise configuration information it is diffcult to clearly pin point the cause.

Subject: Custom Copy Routine - Billing Document to Credit Memo Request

I have a specific discount that is calculated on the invoice (based on the total quantity of product shipped). If a return is made and a credit memo request needs to be created this is currently not recalculating and the customer is credited back the full discount when returning a partial quantity. For the item category being used, current copy routine is 153 (item from billing doc) and pricing type is K (Adopt price components, redetermine taxes). I have tried changing this but no success.

I am thinking of using one of the customer reserve condition categories on the condition type and creating a custom copy routing to take all prices from the billing document except where they meet this condition category. Does anybody have any better ideas? Thanks

RE:[sap-log-sd] What is 'release status' in pricing table eg. table 304?

Reply from saps on Dec 31 at 9:19 PM
Hi Mr.Adriano,

Let us take an example here. Let us consider that the price for a product A is EUR 10 now. We have monthly price fluctuations and if suppose today is the last working day of the month and you have decided that from the next working day, which is the start of the month, the price should be EUR 11. So, we set the price on 30th itself and 'lock' the status of the price today, so that it gets 'released' tomorrow and the price EUR 11 does not reflect on 30th, but only on 1st.

The release status was an added feature. Prior to this, we had Access sequence PR00 with no release status. The latest pricing procedure has acc. seq. PR02, which has a release status.

Hello experts,

What do we mean by released status in pricing. For example, in table 304 we have release status check box.

In real business scenario, when do we use release status?

Thanks

Hi Parveen,

This happens at times when your distribution channel is not maintained with reference to any distribution channel. Please assign them using the Tcode: OVAO,OVAM and OVAN.

RE:[sap-log-sd] Access sequence in rebate processing

Did your issue get resolved? I have the same issue as well.

Subject: Access sequence in rebate processing

Hello,

I have a total of 60 steps in my rebate access sequence ZRAG with condition tables 601 to 606. I have created a new table 970 and added this as step no. 35 in my rebate access sequence ZRAG. Same has been added to the node "Assign Condition Types/Tables to Condition Type Groups" in SPRO against the relevant Condition Type Group and Condition Type.

My issue is when I create a rebate agreement and maintain the rebate condition records, this newly added access is shown as the last one where as I have added it in the fourth place in my access sequence. I want this new access at the fourth place instead of the last.

Can someone guide me how to get this new access at the fourth place?

Regards,

Thanks.

Re: [sap-log-sd] Account Determination not Picking G/L Assignments with new Account Key

Reply from sridharan_rajagopalan on Dec 30 at 1:06 PM
Hi,
Fist of all check whether the particular condition type for which you have
assigned new account key is determined in the pricing procedure and has
some value in the conditions tab of your Billing header/item?

Also check whether you have assigned the account key both in pricing
procedure in Pricing control as well as in the account determination.

If both the above are OK, then there is no reason for the account
determination to fail.

Account determination analysis in bill doc is on the left Procedure - KOFI00, below that NETW - Value of Goods and below that 10(KOFI) - Cust.Grp/MaterialGrp/AcctKey. On the right if you select NETW the following is displayed NETW 120 G/L account 0000401000 determined from Account determination type KOFI and if you select 10(KOFI) the following is displayed on the right 10 120 G/L account 0000401000 determined from Account determination type KOFI

Subject: Account Determination not Picking G/L Assignments with new Account Key

Hi Gurus,

I have a challenge in my account assignment. I have created new condition types as discounts or surcharges in pricing and these conditions calculate royalties that are to be posted in separate accounts in FI. I have gone on to create account keys which I have assigned to appropriate pricing procedure in account determination and then assigned G/L Account using Cust grp/Matrl grp/Accnt Key.

When I complete my billing the accounting document created is picking the assignment with account key ERL only but not the other assignments with the new account keys I have created.

I am using standard account determination procedure KOFI00 and Account Determination type KOFI

Please note these royalties are not payable to the customer but to third parties as a statutory requirement.

The result required is that these royalties are calculated and posted to different account meant for each of the royalties.

Please assist.
