Darn! That wasn't what I was hoping to hear.

We've had a problem where a new material would come into MRP and fail in
the background. We'd force it through in the foreground, and from then on,
the background worked for that material. The theory was that SAP was
using change functionality in the background. You can't change something
that isn't there. I had hoped that yours was something similar.

Obviously, that isn't what you are encountering. Sorry I wasn't of any
help.

When I run in the foreground it works. I run MD01 then MD40 collectively. However, a batch job runs 3 times a day. The MRP list in MD06 is not updating with new information. Example: Planned order was converted to process order. Run MRP and MPS and it remains as a planned order in MD06 (only for "some" materials). MD04 and MD07 is correct (since it is dynamic).
