From the sales order, if you click on the icon to display availability (glasses with a balance scale), and nothing happens, then atp is not happening. If you get the availability overview screen, then atp is happening.

My question is how does the user (end-user) know that availability check is taking place?
Availability check could be taking place and the settings have been setup to indicate that there is unlimited stock available OR the availability check could have been switched off / not taking place. In both these cases, system can confirm any amount of stock in the sales order. |
