For us (SAP SD team) and the business, it wouldn't matter if we create a sales document type by copying RO and deactivating field "Immediate delivery" or by copying OR and keeping field "Lead time in days" blank (i.e. Zero). Is there any difference in taking these two routes? As this process is Express delivery (same day delivery) it is named differently and with different number range than the Normal delivery process. As explain, the following Monday, the Office2 staff (warehouse administration staff) shall create deliveries & do PGIs. End of the month Office1 would create billing documents.
