When I read the original question, I thought you simply wanted to hide the condition type from the user but still have it determined (this is often done for the COGS condition type). The replies are all based on using a requirement. A requirement will remove the condition type from consideration and it will not be calculated. If that is what you wish to do, then others have answered your question. If you wish to use the condition type but not see it, then in MV61AFZA USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION allows you to hide individual fields based on your criteria. The OSS note on authorizations - has some hints on how to do this and there is a commented out code example in the exit as well.
