Hi Mina,

Interesting question!

May I ask why you are asking that?

I think both scenarios would be the same, as you have
Scenario 1 = Ord1 20 --> Ord 2 20; & Ord 1 20 --> Ord 310
Scenario 2 = Ord1 20 --> Ord 2 20 --> Ord 310

In both case you shall have to copy and then change quantity from 20 to 10, for Ord 3.

PO #, PO date etc. has to be given for Ord 2 and 3 irrespective of Scenario 1, 2. And check all 3 doc shall have to be done.

I would go for any one.
If there are 50X2 items - then first time I shall go for scenario 1 and the next time go for scenario 2

Subject: What's the different ways of copy wz reference in sales order ??

Dear SD experts...
I have case, sales order with 50 items and the max. no. of items in order is 20 items , So i create 3 sales order ,
the first order --> 20 items , and
the second order --> 20 items,
the third order with --> 10 items.

so what's the best copy with reference should i do ?
create first order and then create the second and third copy wz rfence from first . OR
create each one from another ,"create the first one , then create the second wz rfernce from first , then create the third wz refernce from second "
what's the best way ... ?
