One observation is that it is difficult to understand your post!
What makes it difficult is short-forms DO etc.
I googled DO but it still not clear.
Please explain better.

Hi all,
I have encountered an problem about item category of Sales Order.
Example : SO 2-1. Previously a DO 1-2 was created. We noticed that the item category for DO 1-2 should be "MTO", not TOP. Therefore we delete the item at DO and want to change the item category in SO from TOP to MTO but unable to change. . it was linked to PO before but we have deleted the PO. however, the Item category still cannot be amended at all.
Please advise the solution.
