Yes, you should be able to. Just make sure that MATMAS has everything you need (it probably does) and make sure that if you have any special processing, that the IDOC is performing those processes. IDOCS are very good to use, but many of them assume the data is 100% correct and bypass system checks. For example, we had to augment one of the standard IDOCS for posting a vendor invoice, because the standard IDOC fed from EDI did not run the check for duplicate invoices we had coded in validations. All other online and batch processes did, but not the IDOC.

Our material master /customer is created in non-sap system. We want that as soon as material master is created in non sap system, the same should be created in SAP system.
Can someone suggest how this can be done and in short the config steps, message types etc.
