I have seen situations where a non-inventoried item needed to be billed with a inventory item and as such the service or non inventory item needed a schedule line in order for it to pass to the delivery so it can be included in the delivery related billing run with the inventoried item on the same delivery. An example of this could be an interest charge that is calculated at the same time as delivery and needs to be issued on the same billing document.
