I do not think your explanation is correct.
I have tested with K029, group condition (with Material pricing group); group condition with scale values. The system calculates the correct value of this condition record in the first time automatically.
After creating a sales order with the quantities per line items, when user goes to the header level, Tab Condition, the value of K029 is automatically populated. There is no need to click on button Update more number of times. Furthermore, if user changes the quantity of a line item, then - on the basis of the scale values given in the condition record for K029 - the values at the header level change automatically.
I think, clicking on the Update button multiple times, for the system to complete processing is NOT the way the system works.
Please take an example, how shall a user know he/she has to click the Update date buttoner repeated for 4 or 6 or 8 times, to get the correct values. Also why cannot the system calculate the values automatically or with one click on Update + B redetermination of pricing.
If I am missing something, please inform me.

Are the scale conditions also group conditions? If so, then that might explain why SAP has to go thru the calcs more than once. In order to calculate scales on a group basis, you usually have to go to header pricing for the scales to update, or they update when you save the document. |
