Hi Roger

I have a same problem like yours.
The following detail information is about my problem.

When I create a STO PO,VL10B create the delivery note,and VL02N change the STO delivery note,
in the batch split screen, I manually change the batch split qty that greater than the main item qty.
The system display a information message no. VL287 "Specified quantity is greater than the open quantity",
and the main item qty is changed to the batch split qty after confirm the message.

I have check the STO delivery note in IMG.
we use the STO delivery type:NL ,Delivery item category:NLN,Check overdelivery :B.
But it not carry out, I think.

I want to change the message no. VL287 to error type.but I don't know how to do it?
Maybe there are some better solution,but I have not found it until now.

When we assigning batch number and delivery qty for material in Delivery Note, if the delivery qty is greater than the open qty, system will show a information : "Specified quantity is greater than open quantity" (Message no. VL287), bit it just a warning message, is it possible to change it to a error message? Please let me know the solution if there is any experts know how to solve this issue.
