Hi srikant, It is an interesting question (and concept) to use one sales document type (e.g. Z1OR) and have two delivery types (Z1LF = standard delivery, Z2LF = express delivery). The difference could be different shipping point (and different route) between Z1LF and Z2LF. This way, with description of delivery type and different shipping points, it would be clear to the delivery creating adminstrative staff which delivery is for what purpose. I think having one sales order type (Z1OR) and the user having to create two different delivery types is "too much handling" for the user and thus not convinient and prone to errors. That is why I am thinking of going for two sales document types and correspondingly two delivery types. From your experience, have you worked with ONE sales document type and Multiple delivery types? What were the advantages and disadvantages? Also read my reply to Saratvamsi, it has some more explanation on this topic. Could you please explain, your previously asked question? I donot completely understand it. "Also, the reason why you need to have the sa,e delivery type for the standard & express process to be followed?" are you asking why should delivery admin staff create a delivery document manually for express delivery? this is because the order creation staff office is at a different location than delivery staff office. And delivery staff office wants to create all the deliveries themselves for more control and overview, also for being single point of communication between them and the warehouse staff (who get the print outs of the TOs, from these dlv. administration staff). Thank you! Typewriter

What exactly is your business requirement /scenario for the standard & express process? Also, the reason why you need to have the sa,e delivery type for the standard & express process to be followed? Thanks, srikant | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
