Hi Jane,
It depends on what you mean by "exceed". You can specify the over-delivery tolerance on the customer master, the quantity variations on the material master (delivery unit, sales unit, rounding profile) and, if you use packing and transportation, you can determine how many boxes fit on a pallet, how many pallets fit in a truck, etc. (Also check units of measure conversions on the material master for these scenarios).
