Hi there, I always found it useful to explain to my customers how "allocation" works in the ATP check. In fact there is no "hard" allocation. Its all about what elements you include in the scope of the check. For sales orders you usually want to include the stock types that are used for picking but take away all other requirements that consume that stock - including other sales orders and outbound deliveries. The difference is the available to promise. I'm very familiar with the powerful rule-based ATP in SCM but if you are only using ECC I think you need to check "include deliveries" in the Availability Check Control for the Checking Rule used for your sales orders.

When delivery document is created for sales order, the stock is not hard allocated. I still can allocate same stock for other delivery document. Is there a way to hard allocate stock when delivery document is created? Appreciate your help. Thanks, Ravi | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
