You are welcome! Like I mentioned, cross-division is a division, created in the same way as any other division. I.e. IMG>Enterprise Structure>Definition>Logistics-General>Def, copy, delete Division > Define division In standard configuration you can see 00 is cross division. in description you can mention - cross division or any other name client wants to give to the division. Depending upon client requirements, if client wants to group products like electronic goods, metal goods, then you - as a SD consultant - could propose a division 00 with description cross division (as this div has goods from across groups). In case client wants to keep electronic goods and metal goods separate - then you could propose two divisions - ZE = electronic goods, ZM = metal goods.

But I still have some more doubts about cross division...while creating a division, where would we mention that this is a cross division? Do we create a cross division the same way we create a division? How do we differentiate? Could you please clarify this? | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author.
