Hi, Just to bring some closure to this little dozy... The issue was that packaging materials were appearing in outbound deliveries across shipments for all storage locations. However, for only one storage location was the source storage location and site for the packaging material being registered in the delivery, thus causing a fail at shipping for deliveries from the other storage locations where a packaging material was in use. What complicated analysis was that packing took place via an offline voice-picking system so this had to be ruled out as a possible cause first. After this was ruled out, several config changes were attempted, such as "Determine picking location" . The final fix was to ensure that the "site determination" setting for each packaging material type accessed via the "Define Packaging Material Types" config object was set to "Site proposed from the packaging material". I hope this saves someone else some time. Regards, Tom.

So far, I've identified the delivery type option "Gen. pack.matl item", however, I'm getting the pack material included in seemingly random deliveries. What other configuration items could be determining the inclusion of the article (item category TAL)? This is a SAP 4.7 retail system. Many thanks, Tom. | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N. Scottsdale Road Suite 280, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 | | _.____.__ |
