Cindy,
If you differentiate your vendor types by account group, you may assign them all to the same number range. You don't need differentiation by account group AND number range.

Subject: Forwarding agents as vendor in SAP
We are in the process of implementing SAP ECC. I support the RTR area including vendor setup. The ITF team has told me they need forwarding agents(4 types), importers, exporters, and custom brokers defined as vendors. They want to create a separate vendor type for each group with a different number range for each.
My question is, is this required or standard SAP. Is there some other method to define these types of vendors as forwarding agents without creating 6 different numbering schemes.
