Hi Waza, In "bigger lines" I agree with you. Please see below - process related - comments - (1,2,3 are from your post) 2. developed by ABAPer a. (Your client )order entry staff knows the delivery period (From To) for a SH To (customer WH). This information he fills in VA01, line item level, Tab Add data B (like you said) b. (in VA01, sales order) From this To date; delivery date is calculated (however calculation of date your client wants e.g. Del date = To date - 1day) c. in VA01, item level, Tab Schedule line Confirmed quantity is populated by system; for calculated delivery date (in b) d. Output of sale order sent to customer & approved by customer. No changes in date or confirmed quantity after approval by customer (so this is different from your point 1) in other words, after changes approval is got from customer 3. System checks & creates delivery if delivery date can be met. (which is in Sales order, line item, Tab Schedule line) If in VA02, line item, Tab Add data B, From & To dates are changed by OE staff; then automatically the delivery date and confirmed quantity changes in Tab Schedule line. This has to then be approved by customer. In case Tab Add data B, From & To dates are empty, the delivery date calculation takes place in the standard manner. Regards, Typewriter
| | | ---------------Original Message--------------- From: Warren Nash Sent: Tuesday, July 26, 2011 9:55 PM Subject: Shipment From and To Dates Control in SD I thought I would ask a question. I have requirement from my client that says that a few customers have a 7 day restriction when goods can arrive at their warehouse. We enter the customer Req. del. Date and then inform them what stock is available via the SO confirmation output. The customer returns with details of acceptance and a restriction of the shipment from and to dates. If we do not comply then delivery should not be done. My initial idea is to develop an ABAP program that does: 1. When confirmation is returned then change the ATP confirmation in the SO to fixed date and qty. 2. Add two fields in Additional Data B that will be blank in the creation SO, but in the selection screen of the ABAP program the from and to dates are entered and then updated in the SO. 3. Delivery userexit to check additional Data B date fields to verify planned GI date is within the date range. Anybody else received that same requirement? Note SAP only give the receiving hours function in the customer master and I guess the issue is that the known dates are never fixed in concrete.
