1. What is the business requirement?
2. Normally one does NOT create a Quantity contract from a Sales order. From a business perspective, contract could be made at the start of a year for 10,000 pallets and throughout the year release orders (could be Sales doc type = OR) made for 10 pallets per release order, with reference to this Quantity contract.
3. SAP standard functionality does not have QC from OR. But if you try to create Quantity contract from Sales order; take in to consideration that you might HAVE TO then from Quantity contract create a release order because Quantity contract does not have schedule lines activated in item category KMN (VOV7).
4. If this is for practice purposes, maybe it is OK. Having said that, for a Functional consultant understanding the logical business process flow & advising the client - sometimes contrary to their wishes, if there is a scope for efficiency - is always a good idea.

I am trying to create contract using T code VA41,and I clicked don with ref to Order in Order tab and entered the order number, the system is throwing the error:
Copying from sales document type Z1OR to ZKQC is not supported
Message no. V2004
Diagnosis
According to the rules defined in copying control copying Z1OR to ZKQC is not allowed.
System Response
The system does not allow further processing of the document.
Kindly help me to proceed further. |
