Hi Neal, looks like my prior answer didn't come through. There is no difference in the documents (same order type, delivery note etc). It looks like our system does not update any follow-up documents when I change any address data in the sales order (I thought that would be a standard functionality?). The reason why it did it for the one specific case is that the user already manually changed the address during (!) order creation, means the VBPA already contained an address-number starting with a "9..." and flag "E" before any follow-up doc was created. When the delivery note was created the address-number ("9" with flag "E") was then copied to the delivery. So now any further manual change gets reflected in the delivery (update of the address with the "9" address-number). I don't understand why our system is not changing any follow-up documents for address changes after the creation of the order (VBPA flag is "D" and the address is taken from the customer master). Only the order itself receives a flag "E" and a "9" address number when I change an address after the order-creation (and delivery note creation). I cannot find the function/module where SAP determines what needs to be updated so I cannot check whether there is some coding preventing from updating the follow-up documents. Marc

For both the invoices were cancelled and then the address of the ship-to changed manually in the sales order. Only for one order the address change shows in the delivery note. I checked table VBPA and saw that the address-number for the sales orders (ship-to) are now flagged with "E" instead of "D" and a new number (starting with "9") is assigned in the address field (in ADRC the new number shows the corrected address). Checking the same for the delivery note only one shows the new number in the addressnumber field. I tried to replicate this in my development system but there the address is never changed in the delivery note, so no chance to get to the source using a trace. Can anybody tell me where or how SAP determines whether the address has to be adjusted for the follow-up documents of a sales order? Thanks in advance Marc | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
