Our promotions have not to date been done via contracts. We had been marking them as promotional and using a promotional pricing form. However, too many are getting missed. Accruals catches these fine, but our production planning can't determine the kind of demand because of the inappropriate marking. We've been considering using promotional contracts, but I see no reason to believe that the contract will be consistently applied. Additionally, what about EDI Sales orders... Has anyone encountered this or a similar problem that might dove tail into a solution for me? Your thoughts would be highly appreciated!
