Here's what we do. We set up the order confirmation (BA00) to go the user via email as a .pdf attachment. Set up the default condition under VV11. We also programmed the order confirmation to create a spool file; which can be download to the desktop as a pdf. We put a wrapper around the standard pdf function from sap and called it ZPDF. The users can use this handy utility to download anything that went to the spool into a .pdf (saving us a ton of paper). Write back if you want more details on the ZPDF part.
