Sap Sale Module: RE:[sap-log-sd] Company code in sales order not redetermined

Hi Jianhau,

I understand the scenario & your description of the issue.

After doing more tests, I am almost 100% certain that once a sales order is saved. The sales organization can NOT be changed.

I have done the below tests; with setup (as you described) -
Customer A has only one sale area 0001 11 00( it's belong to company code 0001.)
Customer B has sale area 0001 11 00 and 0002 11 00 (it's belong to company code 0002)

1.
a. Created sales order with customer A. Sales org = 0001, Co cd = 0001. OK
b. Changed customer to B. The sales org stayed the same (i.e. 0001) and Co cd stayed the same (i.e. 0001). No pop-up to choose another sales area.

2.
a. Created sales order with customer B. Sales org = 0002, Co cd = 0002. OK
b. Changed customer to A. System gave error message customer NOT in sales area.

This is a strange situation. In my tests I am not getting the pop-up you are getting (to change Sales org.)
Furthermore, Sales Org (& DC and Div) are greyed out. Therefore I am concluding that these can NOT be changed.

Could you please test again and let me know?

In VA02, can user change the Sales org or the Sales area?

I had a strange problem
Condition:
Customer A has only one sale area 0001 11 00( it's belong to company code 0001.)

Business operation
I created a new SO to customer A via va01 and saved it.
The SO determine the company code 0001 automatically.
When I change the customer form A to B and change the sale area to 0002 11 00.
Why the company code does not redetermine in the SO ? Is it a standard function ?
