There's a value in the material master for delivering plant on the sales org 1 view that is the default for creating for that sales area. Then you can change manually to any others the plant is extended to.

Thanks for your quick response. My question is not still answered, unfortunately. I'm aware that data will be pulled in the logic u have given.
However, my question is, if the same material exists in different plants, how will it zero in on a particular plant.
