Hi,
Thanks for your response.
Please let me know if I understood you correctly. When we create the material for the first time, the plant in which it is created is taken as default plant during the sales order, even after we extend the material to other plants.
But, the issue is, it is not taking the default plant. It is taking the plant to which the material has been extended in the last. It is a bit weird, but I'm sure there must be some logic.
Request your help.
Warm regards,
Sarat.

Subject: How is plant determined

Hi,

I haven't maintained plant in customer info record and customer master as well. However, plant in maintained in sales org view in material master. However, the same material exists for many plants.

During a sales order, plant is automatically determined. I want to know how they system picks up a plant from let us says 10 plants, in which this material exists.

Your responses are most appreciated.

Warm regards,
Sarat.
