With text determination configurations, it can be "automatically" done. i.e. copying the text or NOT copying the text; from one document to another.
I would suggest you to go through text determination theory and find out how you can satisfy this requirement. If you still have issues we can help.
Please think and comment on below points -
1. You are creating sales order with reference to sales order. Why? Explain business process.
2. Is it that you ALL sales orders user does NOT require to copy text from previous documents?
Understand clearly for which sales document type(s) copying text is NOT needed.

While creating sale order with reference to existing sale order of document type OR , the text should not be copied.
What I did is while creating with reference to existing sale order whenever the text comes for copying I will select delete option so that it won't be copied to current sale order creating.
I what I have done the correct way or is there any other method to stop copying the text during with reference to sale order creation? |
