We had similar rounding issues with discounts, and ended up implementing OSS Note 80183.

Subject: Rounding Issue in Sales Order
The List price of the material is 7.97 for 100 Units and there is a discount of 5% which is $0.40 (actually 0.3985 which is rounded to .40 by standard) and the Net price for the item becomes 7.57. Issue is when the customer orders 100,000 Units the list price is $7970.00 and the discount of 5% ($398.50) leaves the Net price of the material to be 7571.50. The customer is expecting only $7570.00. (7.57 for 100 Units and 7570.00 for 100,000 Units). Please advise me on how to proceed with this issue. I have opted. |
