Hi,
My company has just completed data migration recently. We did not migrate any of the closed SO so when a return is required for inventory & billing, we simply create a Return SO without 'reference'. Disadvantage is you will need to enter the data manually and input the previous delivery and billing reference number in the Return SO yourself.
It works fine for us though as our requirement is not that strict. The goal is just to reverse the stock qty and issue an invoice.
