Hi Bhushanh,

The suggestions made by members is valid and valuable.

The enterprise structure of your client organization shall dictate the creation and setup of the organizational structure in SAP. Having said the above, just from a system "fulfilling - requirement, in order for it to function" & theoretical SAP SD perspective -

You need to create - for your new company code - the following org units: a sales organization, sales area (thus creation of distribution channel, division and correct assignment), delivering plant with storage location, shipping point (if you have not yet created assigned to this plant)

not mandatory - sales office

If you are training and testing then go ahead. If you have the chance to interact with the business, then participate in the workshop where they are discussing the enterprise structure and then map that in SAP sandbox.

If you already know the enterprise structure of your client, then share that information with us; and maybe we can help.

Good luck!

Subject: New Company Code in ECC6

Hi,

I have created a new company code in SAP.

Now I want to extend my customers and vendors so that I do not have to recreate them in new company. How do I do it?

Do I need to create a new sales organization as well in new company code?

Do I need to create a new purchasing organization in new company code?

Please help. A step by step procedure is very much appreciated.
