Hi Kenneth,
You can limit the decimal places according your requirements during creation/modification of Sales Order.
It is not necessary a Z development or userexit.
For example, for material X during VA01/VA02.
Case 1. Decimal places is not permitted for material X with UoM=OTR
MM02 for material X --> tab Sales Org 1.
Field Delivery Unit = 1 OTR
Case 2. Just 2 decimal places is permited for material X with UoM=OTR
MM02 for material X --> tab Sales Org 1.
Field Delivery Unit = 0,01 OTR
If you want a message error or warning you can customize message nr. V4 081.
SPRO -> Sales & Distribution -> Sales -> Sales Document -> Define variable messages -> V4 081 change W by E.
