I know the late deliveries - I have no method to capture a reason code as to why they are late. That is what I want to have the ability to capture and subsequently report upon.

Based on your post, I was under the impression that the business wanted to obtain a list with all "late" deliveries. As you had mentioned "Loading Date" - "we cannot change the load date on" ; in outbound deliveries there is only one field for Loading date. Therefore I suggested using two fields - Planned GI and Actual GI, to obtain the list.
It was not clear to me, therefore I did not take in to consideration, that your main requirement was to give the reason for late per shipment, in the list of late shipments. |
