Hello Typewriter, 1) BED varies from goods to goods, based on "Chapter ID" ( given by govt of India)of a good. For a particular good, it's usually 16 %. That's why I changed it so.Usually, it is not changed at SO level. I am doing testing run, for some other team. So, just like that, changed it. 2) I've changed the pricing type to D in LF to F2 copy control. Now, the same pricing is flowing unchanged to invoice. 3) Basically, taxes & duties are determined from tax calculation procedure ( TAXINN & TAXINJ), assigned to a country. TAXINN- Condition based TAXINJ- Formula based. Indian taxation & excise system & policies are very broad & complex. ( Like Brazil). It includes SD, MM & FI/CO. For getting a quick glimpse, pls have a look at pricing procedures : JINFAC, (sale from factory) JINDEP ( sales from depot), JINEXP ( export)& JINSTK. ( stock transfer). Any specific questions, you are most welcome. Rgds Sumanth.G

It is new learning for me. Therefore, I have marked your post as helpful. Please give some background information, as to why user (needed to) change tax % 4 to 16? BED is levied by govt. of India, Thus, I presume it is know (4%) and thus maintained in condition record. Have you changed Pricing type to D (or C) in VTFL? And are the test results OK? Does this fit the client needs / business requirement? Thanks again for sharing! | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
