Cash sales are like customer visit to the plant and pick the goods so that
delivery and billing all should be happened at the moment. We might not have
any contacts between the customer and company in future so all should be
settled then and there. Cash sales or just like we go to supermarket to buy
the goods at the end of our shopping there is a billing counter where we
need to pay for the items we pick. Since customer is paying instantly
delivery should happen at the same time. Cash sales are like counter sales.

Rush order are like general sales cycle. Only difference is immediate
delivery happen. This is because to maintain a good relation with premier
customers/key accounts. Rest of the process is same as normal sales process.

These are controlled by the sales document types (T code - VOV8)
Cash Sales - CS
Rush Order - RO
Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Vamsi

Hi All,

Why do we have an order-related billing for cash sales and delivery-related billing for rush order.

Thanks and regards,
Syamala
