Hi Claudio,

I am thinking of (& have tested, but not fully) using the concept of "Completion rule" in item category.

E.g.

1 sales order with 90 TON
with 3 line items, each with 30 TON.
with each line item has 1 schedule line.

Line item 10, Order quantity = 30, first delivery date = 20.08.2011
Line item 20, Order quantity = 30, first delivery date = 22.08.2011
Line item 30, Order quantity = 30, first delivery date = 24.08.2011

Item category ZTAN (copy of TAN) has field "completion rule" = A (complete with first reference)

3 delivery notes created, in total.
1st delivery created, Delivered quantity = 29,5 TON, picked quantity = 29,5 TON.
Because of completion rule, after first reference, the line item 10 is status complete.

The test has not been successful. Maybe because of the presence of schedule line category. Please test, maybe further develop this concept.

On the other hand, this works perfectly for Inquiry with 2 line items, each with 30 TON. Sales order created only for 1st line item with 29,5 TON. You can NOT create another sales order for the first line item. Status of this line item i.e. "Reference status" = Fully referenced in VA12, item level, Tab Status.

I can understand why the concept which works for Inquiry does NOT work in the same way for Sales order (+delivery), as these 2 are not working in the same manner! Furthermore, the user has simply NOT - yet - fully "executed" the sales order; which is the agreement between your company and your customer. & the execution of that agreement is the delivery.

Please test and update us.

Hi.

I have the following problem related with mining industry.

Sales order with one item = 100 TON.
ShdLine_1 = 30 TON
ShdLine_2 = 30 TON
ShdLine_3 = 40 TON

When I deliver the first ShedLine, the system propose 30 TON, and the real picked quantity is 29,95 TON.
Now comes the problems.
I don´t want the next delivery with 30 TON + 0,05 TON from the previous SchedLine.
How can I set "completed" the first SchedLine after the first delivery ?
The field Partial Delivery Item (VBAP-KZTLF = A) don´t work, because after the 1st delivery close the order item.
