As per my understanding of this thread, the issue is - in a delivery how to process 2 materials; in one of them batch management is activated/applicable and in the other material not.
In MM02, batch management cannot be changed if stocks exist in either the current period or in the previous period.
On a personal note, I encourage your questions and the desire to enhance one's knowledge. This could help the forum; it would certainly help me!

If the batch management is active for a material...... batch is automatically created, isnt it? how can we create material without batch nos then?
I am asking you this question because i tried to de activate batch management in mm02 for a material and it gave me an error message. Your help would be most appreciated.
