Hi Roger, I would follow SAP standard functionality for business process involving - giving equipment for rent. Major setting is already done by SAP. If need be, you can do some fine tuning / adjustments (like billing block, or billing type etc.) 1. Sales document type is Service contract SC 2. Item category is Maintenance contract WVN Billing plan is assigned to this item category & billing relevance is I (check in VOV7). 3. Pricing procedure is PSER01, with condition type PPSV (calculation type = M monthly) If business process demands you can have your own pricing procedure with PR00 as condition type. Having a "dedicated" pricing procedure for renting equipment is - in my opinion - a good idea, gives clarity (and no confusion) 4. After creating a contract. You can bill periodically. 5. In "Maintain Date category" (with periodic billing plan 02, date category 01 - already configured by SAP) you can have billing blocks, if business demands. I have tested it, it works fine for me. Thank you!

My rough idea is to create a contract with TAO(Billing plan type set to Periodic), then set billing detail in Billing Plan in the contract, is it a right way? Please advise me if there is any experts has similar experience. Thanks & Best Regards Roger | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
