Read 'ambiguity' in place of 'disambiguity'.

My requirement was for a couple of one-off situations and not as a regular business requirement. Rental and service charges were addressed in SD using Equipment masters. Delivery and Return were done offline (with debit notes for delivery and return charges - no shipping etc.) and the service contract indicated contract expiry and hence anticipated Equipment Return. The emphasis was on rental and service charges rather than delivey and tracking, being a non-priority business activity. **I am thinking - clear MMR naming, material group, material type, sales document type, dedicated billing types, reports (dates) of these invoices etc. are the tools to keep an inventory-overview of materials that is given for hire. ** - Just imagine the amount of controls that you would need to build around these to ensure process compliance... Will it work? It could. But will it be free of disambiguity? I doubt it. Work arounds are like a mechanic using just a screwdriver and a hammer - for all situations. You could probably open a can with that, but a can opener is clearly a better option!! | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
