Cindy,
You can select vendor account group 0005 and that will segregate the vendors from other vendor types. You can create different partner types for your use according to your specific definition.

Subject: Forwarding agents as vendor in SAP
We are in the process of implementing SAP ECC. I support the RTR area including vendor setup. The ITF team has told me they need forwarding agents(4 types), importers, exporters, and custom brokers defined as vendors. They want to create a separate vendor type for each group with a different number range for each.
My question is, is this required or standard SAP. Is there some other method to define these types of vendors as forwarding agents without creating 6 different numbering schemes.
