This is because, you created stocks on 23.8.11. The earlier delivery date
was in the past. During that time, no stock was available.
Stock is available only from 23.8.11 & on 12.9.11, the order is getting
confirmed.

Hi,

I noted a very peculiar thing in sales order. I have a sales order with a delivery date of 19.1.10 already existing sales order. The schedule line is not confirmed.

I checked for the stock for the material and there was no stock. So I created the stock as on today 23.8.11. Still the system did not confirmed the schedule line.

I went to schedule line and changed the delivery date to 12.9.11 ad then the system confirmed the schedule line.

My question is how come just by increasing the delivery date, the system confirmed the schedule line and why did the system not confirm the schedule line when I created the stock for the material as written above.
