Try using a Scheduling Agreement.
I did the Sales Contract once with MRP, but I had to use userexits and force SAP to believe I was using MTO and believe it was painful.

We are entering annual Sales contracts and need to make them visible in MD04 so purchasing has visibility of this need. It would be ideal if we could show the "remaining amount" of the contract and if MRP could generate a Purchase Requisition that purchasing can convert into a Purchase Order.
