Typewriter - If the data simply flat out cannot be changed in the bad document, then the bad document must be reversed or canceled. You need to go as far backwards through the process as it takes to get to the point where you can enter the correct data. Now, if there's no way to enter the correct data in the first place, then there's a problem either with what you're trying to do, or with your configuration. Either educate the end user, or get the functional in charge to correct the system settings. The bottom line is, if you think you cannot do it right through the application, find out why before you get creative. Dave
