Jim, I followed your suggestion. I changed the end date in VK12 for PR00. Then followed your steps (e.g. /h etc.) I could not see the cond rec # in the debug session. I went to SE16, table A857, I saw my new con rec # = 000035256 (with valid till 29.11.9999) My question to you was where could I see that in my "debug session". Anyway, many thanks to ALL! A thread full of learning!

So as long as you are changing the amount, then the condition record # should stay the same. If you change the end date, or create a new record that ends the current one (overlaps it on the end), then a new entry will be created in the A857 table. When you are in the condition maintenance overview screen, double-click on the condition record. On the next screen, put /h in the shortcut window (upper left). and press enter. If you have authority, you'll kick into debug mode. Then you can put KONH in the variable field and see what value is in the KNUMH field. An abapper can show you easier than can be described in an email. | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
