If this is happening for only few material, for rest,if you are able to post mvmt 601 , then check in J1ID - combination of Material and chapter Id , whether non-posted material is declared as 'RG1' under material type.

Kindly advise on the below issue
We are not able to post in t code J1I5 for the movement type 601. Dut to this RG 1 is not getting updated. Every month we have this problem for some materials.
