Hi Barry,

Please note that Financial Period closing is independent of Materials period closing. Thus it is possible that sitting in current month you can use the "Actual GI Date" in previous month as long as relevant period is open in MM.

What you might wanna check is that in which month you want its Financial Impact.

Hypothetical question I need help with. If now is the beginning of current month, and Financial department have not finished the financial settlement of the last month, and planning department have to post GI for delivery order and the posting period belong to the last month, when planning department posts GI for delivery order, how should I specify the posting date?
