You can post by last month date.
There are special posting period that allow for posting even though the posting period has been closed.

If now is the beginning of current month, and Financial department have not finished the financial settlement of the last month, and planning department have to post GI for delivery order and the posting period belong to the last month, when planning department posts GI for delivery order, how should I specify the posting date? |
