SAP AG possibly are thinking why would these fields need to be used to determine a GL account. If for exports, you can use the item category, etc.

Though as you know there are user exits to allow the inclusion of additional fields.

Hi Experts,

Why has SAP provided fewer (much fewer) number of Fields in the Field Catelog for Account Determination as compared to - say - number of fields in Pricing (or Material Determination)?

E.g. AUART_SD Sales document type or KUNNR customer; these fields, I would expect to already be made available by SAP in the Field catelog for Acc Det. but they aren't available.
