Hi Roger,

One way we don't need to create SH/SP/PY before creating sold to party is -

Go to IMG>SD>Basic Func> Partner Determination> Setup Customer Det. for Cust Master > "Account group - Function Assignment", with New Enteries create -
assign SP to your Account group
assign SH to your Account group
assign BP to your Account group
assign PY to your Account group

Now, in XD01, when you give an external customer number, this number shall be assigned to your SP, SH, BP, PY automatically.

Another way would be -
Go to IMG>SD>Basic Func> Partner Determination> Setup Customer Det. for Cust Master > "Partner Function in Procedure -
for SH, BP, PY mark field "M" (mandatory) = blank
Then when you create Customer MR, in XD01, system shall not ask you to create SH, BP, PY.
But then this CMR shall only have SP, and later you would have to create SH, BP, PY separately and put them in your CMR.

I think you, the first way is the way to go forward.

If we set the number range for customer account group to external, we have to assign a number on the initial screen when we creating customer master, but I found for the others partner functions in Partner tab we have to create the master file before creating sold to party. Is there any way we don't need to create SH/SP/PY before creating sold to party? Or it's the only way we have to create SH/SP/PY ? Please advise me the best solution if there is any experts know the solutions.
