Reply from Typewriter on Jan 20 at 9:16 PM Hi saps, As suggested Unique i.e. Field "U" - - if activated for a partner function, then more than one customer master record of that partner function can NOT be entered in the cmr of SP e.g. U = activated for SH then in XD01, user can not have the below - SP = 5000 SH = 5000 SH = 5001 user can have either - SP = 5000 SH = 5000 or SP = 5000 SH = 5001 - if NOT activated for a partner function, then more than one customer master record of that partner function can be entered in the cmr of SP e.g. U = de-activated for SH then in XD01, user can have the below - SP = 5000 SH = 5000 SH = 5001 So, to not get the below error - Partner function SH already exists (only defined once) Message no. F2188 make field U (unique) BLANK. PS - Please read and test the other posts. They might help you clear the concept of Uniqueness in partner functions.

I had already checked the SH. It was unique by default for both the cases. Please suggest. I am doing the experiment as suggested by you. Thanks and kind regards, saps | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
