RE:[sap-log-sd] Set Materials to Default Order Type

In standard configuration, irrespective of sales document types OR or RO or FD or......the storage location would determined.

Currently, how have you configured that ONLY for these two sales doc types the storage location is 0002?

Would the shipping condition be different for other sales document types? If yes, then you could have different shipping points and then have different storage location. Would that have impact on the business processes, how?

Or else you would have to go for a Z table, in a userexit, maybe USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT in program MV45AFZZ.
This Z table can have Sales document type, Delivering plant, Shipping point (if needed), Storage conditions, Storage location.

Another way could be with Text determination.
The default storage location for a material is 0002.
When creating ZPOR sales order, then - because of Text determination - user shall get a Popup message "Change the storage location of Material XYZ"
This text determination can be setup for a particular material. And text procedure can be assigned to the Sales document type (e.g. ZPOR).

By this the user shall input storage location 0001 in the sales order, and that shall go to the delivery too.

Yes, but if I use the material for other order types then ZPOR or ZPR1 the default location for the material shall not be st. loca. 0002.
